Stone statue making, a traditional practice in Sekikawa, was conducted at Sekikawa Elementary School as part of their local learning program. Students and local residents worked together to create a large stone statue, known as "Daidarabotchi."

Meanwhile, athletes from Ishioka Junior High School and Yago Junior High School reported their outstanding performance in the prefectural comprehensive sports tournament to Mayor Tanaka. The mayor praised their efforts and encouraged them to continue striving for their goals.
