Summary

EXISTING GROUND with interceptor or diversion ditch is excavated and stabilized in phases, with permanent or temporary seeding. Construction sequence includes:
1. Excavating and stabilizing interceptor and/or diversion ditches,
2. Performing phase 1 and 2 excavations with seeding,
3. Placing final phase embankment with seeding, and
4. Maintaining diversion ditches until slope is stabilized.
Embankment construction is done in phases, with diversion ditches and slope drains in place until stabilization.
Perimeter controls, erosion control devices, and ditch checks are constructed as required.
All cut and embankment slopes are dressed, prepared, seeded, and mulched as work progresses, in equal increments not exceeding 7.5 meters vertically.
