Summary

I object to the A303 Stonehenge plan, which many others also oppose. National Highways has reiterated previous arguments despite concerns from the Government's independent specialist examiners, UNESCO's World Heritage Committee, and the former Transport Secretary, who all find the scheme unacceptable. The High Court judgment quashed the DCO due to lack of consideration for alternatives, and National Highways' response does not alleviate concerns. I continue to object and hope the scheme will be abandoned, or at least subject to another formal public examination to consider new information and public input.
