ACON launched a Blueprint for improving the health and wellbeing of the trans and gender diverse community in NSW in 2019. The Blueprint outlines key approaches to improve health outcomes and strengthen inclusion of TGD people within ACON's programs and services. It was developed with support from ACON's TGD Community Health Advisory Group and informed by a comprehensive review of literature and consultation process. The Blueprint identifies six priority areas:

1. Clear and easy pathways for accessing gender-affirming care
2. Affordable and available gender-affirming healthcare
3. An inclusive and knowledgeable NSW health sector
4. Official government I.D.s and records that reflect TGD people's gender
5. Workplaces, education settings, and environments that are inclusive and respectful of TGD people's needs
6. A vibrant, resourced trans and gender diverse community advocating for its own needs and priorities.

Each priority area includes solutions, such as developing plain-language resources, providing ongoing GP training, covering gender-affirming healthcare under Medicare, and creating a NSW health sector strategy to improve TGD people's health and wellbeing.
