La Secretaría de Administración y Finanzas de la Universidad Veracruzana emite la guía "Actualización de datos de bienes muebles" (ABS-CB-G-17) para establecer las actividades para solicitar la actualización de datos registrados en el Subsistema de Planeación, Recursos Financieros y Materiales (SPRFM) de los bienes muebles. El objetivo es actualizar los datos de marca, modelo, serie y/o descripción de los bienes muebles que no coinciden con la información contenida en el Comprobante Fiscal Digital por Internet (CFDI) o en el Subsistema. La guía aplica a las unidades responsables, administración, resguardantes y usuarios de bienes muebles que soliciten la actualización de datos. Se deben seguir los pasos para notificar a la Dirección de Control de Bienes Muebles e Inmuebles o la Secretaría de Administración y Finanzas Regional, y se debe incluir una "Ficha de evidencia fotográfica" en formato PDF con las fotografías del bien y su número de serie.
