The consultant will develop easy-to-read materials, awareness materials, implementation guidelines, and procedures for importing and exporting industrial goods and agro-food commodities. The focus will be on the 20 most traded products and priority sectors in the EAC, including pharmaceuticals, leather, and textiles. The deliverables include an inception report, draft manual and video documentary, and a final report. The consultancy is expected to take 20 working days, and the consultant should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in standards development in the EAC, with fluency in English and knowledge of Kiswahili being an advantage.
