The Georgia Pacific Gypsum Antioch Wharf Upgrade Project is analyzed for its potential aesthetic impacts. The project site is located on the southern shore of the San Joaquin River, near the Antioch Bridge, and is visible to the public from the river and surrounding areas. - No Impact for substantial degradation of the existing visual character, as the project would improve the visual quality of the site by creating more open water and reducing deteriorated wooden pilings.
- No Impact for creation of a new source of substantial light or glare, as no new source of visual glare or substantial light is expected to occur due to the project.
No mitigation is required, as the project would not result in significant aesthetic impacts.
