The status of implementation of transmission projects under tariff-based competitive bidding is as follows:

1. Bongaigaon-Siliguri 400 kV Quad D/C: Work completed except for 0.407 km of stringing over RIST campus due to litigation, and 4 foundations, 4 tower erections, and 6.7 km stringing due to non-availability of forest clearance.

2. Purnea-Biharsharif 400 kV D/C Quad: Line completed.

3. System Strengthening in NR and WR: Work yet to start due to issues with tariff revision and extension of commissioning date.

4. Talcher-II Augmentation System: Work yet to start due to issues with tariff revision and extension of commissioning date.

5. Transmission System Associated with Krishnapattnam UMPP: Foundations constructed, pile cap work in progress, towers erected, and stringing completed, with a scheduled completion date of June 2014.

6. System Strengthening for WR: Severe row problems and delay in forest clearance have affected progress.

7. Transmission System Associated with IPPs of Nagapattinam/Cuddalore Area: Work awarded on May 16, 2014.

8. Transmission System Associated with IPPs of Vemagiri Area: Project execution terminated due to delay in commissioning of associated generating station.

9. Transmission System Required for Evacuation of Power from Kudgi TPS: EPC contract awarded, with commencement of various activities ongoing.
