Hilperton Parish Council meeting minutes from 16th April 2013:
The meeting was attended by 10 council members and 2 members of the public.
Apologies were received from Pam Turner and Scott Uncles.
No declarations of disclosable pecuniary interests were made.
The minutes from the previous meeting were approved and signed.
Matters arising included updates on the Blind House, Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust, and the bus shelter on Horse Road.
The Chairman thanked Sandra Carleton for her 2 years of service to the Parish Council.
Wiltshire Councillor Mr. Clark reported on the upcoming local elections and changes to the Trowbridge Area Board funding process.
PC Hough and Sgt. James Bray reported on 17 crimes in the parish over the last month.
Items for report and discussion included the local elections, allotment matters, parish steward, and the Trowbridge Community Area Parish Council's Liaison Group.
The Chairman reminded members to attend the Annual Parish Assembly on 7th May 2013.
It was agreed to send agendas and minutes electronically to members with computer facilities.
The council discussed clearing detritus from private land and agreed to prepare signs and arrange a litter pick.
There were no new planning applications, but several decisions and appeals were reported.
