On September 14, 2021, a recall election will be held to determine whether California Governor should be removed from office. The ballot will contain two questions:
1. Should the Governor be removed from office?
2. If the Governor is removed, who should replace him?
If more than 50% of voters answer "no" to the first question, the Governor will remain in office. If more than 50% answer "yes", the person with the most votes in the second question will become the new Governor.

To vote, registered voters in California will receive a mail-in ballot about a month before the election. Voters can check their registration status at voterstatus.sos.ca.gov and register to vote at registertovote.ca.gov. The deadline to register is August 30, 2021.

There are three ways to vote:
1. Mail-in ballot: Fill out the ballot and mail it back, ensuring it is postmarked by September 14.
2. In-person drop-off: Submit the ballot at any voting location in the county or at designated drop-off locations.
3. In-person voting: Vote at a designated polling station, which may vary from previous years. Early voting will be available at some locations.
