(MPH) was contracted by the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA) to perform surveying and mapping services for the Caminada Headlands Back Barrier Marsh Creation Project (BA-171) in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana. The project aims to create, maintain, and nourish approximately 430 acres of marsh through hydraulic dredging. MPH's scope of services included topographic, bathymetric, magnetometer, and geophysical investigations, as well as obtaining permission and access from landowners, notifying navigable waterway hazards, and conducting horizontal and vertical control surveys. The surveys were conducted to gather data for the project's design and implementation.
