Die Sozialdemokratische Partei Deutschlands (SPD) Ortsverein Bad Vilbel stellt den Antrag, dass die Stadt Bad Vilbel die Charta der Vielfalt unterzeichnet und damit eine Selbstverpflichtung eingeht, um eine Organisationskultur zu fördern, die allen Menschen gegenüber offen und vorteilhaft ist. Die Charta der Vielfalt ist eine Initiative, die seit 2006 besteht und von über 2.250 Unternehmen und öffentlichen Einrichtungen unterzeichnet wurde. Ziel ist es, ein Arbeitsumfeld zu schaffen, das frei von Vorurteilen ist und alle Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter unabhängig von Geschlecht, Nationalität, ethnischer Herkunft, Religion oder Weltanschauung, Behinderung, Alter, sexueller Orientierung und Identität wertschätzt. Die Stadtverordnetenversammlung soll am 28. Juni 2016 über den Antrag entscheiden.
