Summary

The City of Wentzville received an actuarial valuation report to determine employer contribution rates for Missouri Local Government Employees Retirement System (LAGERS) benefits. The report contains information to comply with Missouri state disclosure requirements and describes the contribution requirement for benefits, including normal cost rate, casualty rate, and prior service cost rate. The actuarial assumptions and methods used are described in Appendix I, and the report was prepared using a proprietary valuation model. The computed contribution rates will permit the System to operate in accordance with actuarial principles of level cost financing and state law.
