Montgomery County Employee Retirement Plans Team reported the following as of 3/31/21:
- Employees' Retirement System (ERS) has $4.3 billion in assets, 3,169 active participants, 3,006 GRIP participants, and 6,479 retired participants, with an estimated funded status of 106%.
- Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) has $660 million in assets and 4,395 active and inactive participants.
- Deferred Compensation Plan (DCP) has $576 million in assets and 3,422 active and inactive participants.
- Retiree Health Benefits Trust has $1.4 billion in assets and is managed by Fidelity, which also provides recordkeeping services for RSP, GRIP, and DCP, offering onsite representation, access to regional offices, seminars, and an interactive website.
