- Solicitor: Person engaging in soliciting as defined above.
- Temporary: 30 consecutive days or less.
- Transient Retail Business: Includes peddling, canvassing, and taking orders for goods; selling at temporary locations like flea markets and food trucks; not including sidewalk sales by merchants at their regular establishments or personal, non-temporary business conducted within the Borough.

- Licensing Requirements:
- All transient retail businesses and private sales require a license from the Borough Manager.
- Application includes personal details, criminal record, type of goods, desired licensing period, vehicle/helper information.
- Fees:
- Foot Peddler: $5 per day or $90 per month.
- Peddler in a Motor Vehicle: $10 per day or $150 per month.
- Private Sales (for residents): No fee unless more than 3 sales per year, then $25 per sale.

- Operating Hours and Restrictions:
- Licensed peddlers cannot solicit door-to-door on Sundays or before/after specified times on other days.
- Private sales allowed Friday through Monday between 7:00 AM and sunset for up to 3 consecutive days.
- Food trucks can operate from a fixed location and must vacate by 11:00 PM, with specific distance requirements from residential buildings.
