Summary

The Irish Peatland Conservation Council is seeking a Climate & Biodiversity Officer to promote and implement peatland conservation actions, support the CEO, and work on office management, fundraising, and conservation projects. The ideal candidate will have a level 8 qualification in a relevant field, at least three years of experience in natural heritage policy, conservation, or management, and excellent communication and organizational skills. The position is based at the Bog of Allen Nature Centre in Co. Kildare, with a salary of €32,000 per year and a contract duration of 24 months. Applications should be submitted by 5pm on 8th October 2021.
