Public Comments:

Dr. Adela Cruz recommended improvements to the Coordinated Entry System process.
Roland Perez (Westminster Police Department) requested access to the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) and the Bed Reservation System for law enforcement.
Jessica Martinez (Westminster Police Department) emphasized the need for collaborative solutions to assist people experiencing homelessness.
Sergeant Juan Montiel (Santa Ana Police Department) suggested allowing shelter access immediately, rather than waiting for Coordinated Entry System Prioritization.

Board Member Comments:

Chair Dawn Price requested a coordination meeting with law enforcement to address concerns.
Elida Sanchez shared survey findings on McKinney-Vento Liaisons, including delays in services and requests for protocols.
Melanie McQueen requested inclusion in the collaborative meeting to ensure timely access to shelter beds.
Maricela Rios-Faust suggested regular reviews of policies.
Robert “Santa Bob” Morse expressed gratitude to Secretary Dr. Shauntina Sorrells and requested extended meeting time for the Veterans Committee.
