Summary

Årgang 2006 og 2007 betalte prisen for en nedlukning af skolerne med relativt beskeden effekt på smitten. De blev hjemsendt i mere end et halvt skoleår, svarende til mere end 769 timer under COVID-19-pandemien. WHO og UNICEF konkluderer, at COVID-19 ikke udgør en stor risiko for børn, og at skoler ikke er afgørende for smittespredningen i det omgivende samfund. ECDC kommer frem til lignende konklusioner og mener, at beslutningen om at lukke skoler skal bruges som en sidste udvej på grund af de negative fysiske, mentale sundhed og uddannelsesmæssige indvirkninger på børn.
