Summary

Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated the newly constructed Paikul bridge in Sattari taluka in the presence of Health Minister Vishwajit Rane and MLA Dr. Deviya Rane. The Chief Minister announced that the construction of the Savde bridge in Sattari taluka will start soon and its foundation will be laid within the next two months. He also informed that a cancer OPD service will be started in collaboration with Tata Hospital, Mumbai, at the Goa Medical College, and the government will launch a scheme to provide easy medical claims to all. The Paikul bridge was constructed at a cost of Rs 19 crore and completed within 9 months. Health Minister Vishwajit Rane expressed satisfaction over the completion of the bridge, which will benefit not only the people of Paikul village but also the entire Sattari taluka. MLA Dr. Deviya Rane stressed the need for improving road connectivity and demanded the introduction of Kadamba bus services in Paikul village.
