Social Welfare Minister inaugurates workshop of Hemophilia Federation, appeals to create awareness about Hemophilia and Thalassemia.

On June 3, 2023, Social Welfare Minister, Shri. Subhash Phal Desai, inaugurated a workshop organized by the Hemophilia Federation (India) in Goa. The Minister appealed to create awareness about Hemophilia and Thalassemia, and to provide support to patients suffering from these diseases.

The workshop was attended by officials from the Hemophilia Federation, patients, and their families. The Minister assured that the government would provide all necessary support to patients suffering from Hemophilia and Thalassemia.

The workshop was organized to create awareness about Hemophilia and Thalassemia, and to provide a platform for patients and their families to share their experiences. The Minister also launched a booklet on Hemophilia and Thalassemia, and appealed to the public to come forward and support patients suffering from these diseases.

The workshop was attended by officials from the Department of Health, and other stakeholders. The Minister thanked the Hemophilia Federation for organizing the workshop, and assured that the government would continue to support their efforts to create awareness about Hemophilia and Thalassemia.
