4. Poll Workers: The age distribution of poll workers in 2022 was similar to 2018, with a majority of poll workers older than 60 years old. Over 80,000 individuals served as poll workers for the first time, comprising 16.7% of the poll worker population.
5. Election Technology: The use of electronic poll books, ballot-marking devices, and scanners increased from 2020 to 2022. The use of direct-recording electronic (DRE) voting equipment declined overall.
