Kirkkojen paloturvallisuusohjeessa annetaan vaatimukset kirkkojen paloturvallisuudesta.
Ohjeessa käsitellään rakenteellista paloturvallisuutta, palontorjuntalaitteistoa, päivittäistä
palontorjuntaa, rakenteellista suojausta, sähköasennuksia ja salamasuojausta,
rakennus- ja korjaustyöt, teknistä valvontaa ja valaistusta, laitteistojen huoltoja ja
määräaikaistarkastuksia sekä pelastussuunnitelmaa.
Kirkkorakennukset on varustettava automaattisella paloilmoittimella ja automaattisella
sammutuslaitteistolla.
Syttyvää materiaalia ei saa säilyttää rakennuksen ulkoseinustoilla tai ullakolla.
Tilat on pidettävä lukittuina, ja lukitus on suunniteltava FA:n Rakenteellinen
murtosuojaus-ohjeen tason 2 mukaisesti.
Kirkkoihin on laadittava pelastuslain mukainen pelastussuunnitelma, joka sisältää
ihmisten sekä arvoesineiden pelastamissuunnitelman, ohjeet alkusammutuksesta,
paloilmoituksen tekemisestä ja jälkivahinkojen torjunnasta.
