Summary

Central Bank of Sudan's Statistics Directorate publishes Foreign Trade Statistical Digest, covering exports and imports registered at all customs stations in Sudan, including those channeled through Khartoum Airport, with Port Sudan being the main channel for most of Sudan's foreign trade. The imports are valued on a C.I.F basis, while exports are valued on an F.O.B basis. The foreign trade statistics exclude gifts, personal effects, and other imports for exhibition for a period not exceeding six months, with the values of rent recorded in the balance of payments statistics. The Central Bank and Central Bureau of Statistics publish these statistics in local currency.
