The North European Championship 2023 (NEC) Formula Offroad competition will be held in Norway, organized by NMK Hønefoss, with participating countries including Norway, Iceland, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Switzerland, and Germany. The competition will follow the F.I.A. International Sporting Code and the organizers' supplementary regulations. Eligible vehicles must be prepared according to the 2023 NEC Formula Offroad Technical Regulations, with dedicated competition numbers and a valid annual Driver's license. The competition will consist of six or more tracks, with one or more timed tracks, and will be divided into point zones. The official language of the event is English. Communication between drivers and outsiders is not allowed during tracks, and penalties will be given for infractions. The fastest driver in the timed track will be awarded 350 points, with other drivers deducted 1 point for every 1/10th of a second slower. The competition will also feature a start sequence, with drivers moved to the back after each track, and a maximum time of three minutes for the timed track.
