Minutes of Fulking Parish Council's annual meeting on 7 May 2009:
Elections: Jennifer Vaughan (Chairman), Tony Brooks (Vice-Chairman), Pamela Rowland (Planning Committee Chairman).

Matters arising and any other business: None.
Chairman's report:
15 planning applications (9 granted, 2 refused, 1 withdrawn, 3 pending).
Market Garden Site: owner fined for non-compliance, external light pollution issue persists.
Finance: £5,776 precept for 2009/10, accounts being prepared.
Highways and rights of way: Permissive Path Agreement concluded, 'Unsuitable for HGV' signs placed, non-slip surface requested.
North Town Field: new entrance, grass cutting, safety checks, tree work, and bark pit maintenance.
Preston Nomads and National Park: no updates, new Chairman for Nomads, National Park decision made.
Village website and Pigeon Post: updated and running smoothly, thanks to volunteers.
Action in Rural Sussex: survey priorities are allotments, community shop, and transport.
Fly tipping, Freedom of Information, and Village Plan: being monitored, adopted, and discussed.
Guest speakers: Tree Warden, Police, Neighbourhood Watch, HART team, National Trust, and Councillors.
Meeting closed at 9:25 pm.
