Summary

Ireland's tourism industry is seeking support in Budget 2023 to retain competitiveness and maintain investment, enabling the industry to recover and deliver regional economic balance, exchequer receipts, and employment. The full recovery of Irish tourism is crucial to the Irish economy, with the industry employing 270,000 people and generating €9.5 billion annually before the pandemic.
