University of the Arts Student Union's board made the following decisions on 29.8.2016:
- Approved the agenda for the meeting
- Supported the preservation of Tampere University's theatre study program
- Extended the application period for a student member and three student deputy members to the University of the Arts' university college until 5.9.2016
- Appointed Lauri Grünthal as a student member of the Sibelius Academy's board until 31.12.2017
- Extended the application period for a student member and a student deputy member to the Theatre Academy's teaching council until 5.9.2016
- Appointed Wenla Reimaluoto as a student member of the Theatre Academy's recruitment council
- Extended the application period for a student member to the Theatre Academy's committee for evaluating the teaching skills of the singing and voice teacher until 5.9.2016
- Appointed Joel Neves and Wenla Reimaluoto as student members to the Theatre Academy's performance-related matters and extended the application period until 5.9.2016
- Extended the application period for a student member and a student deputy member to the Sibelius Academy's classical music department council until 5.9.2016
- Appointed Lauri Grünthal as a student member of the Sibelius Academy's Pedagogy Academy's board
- Sent greetings to the University of Lapland's student union's 37th anniversary and Tampere University of Technology's student union's 51st anniversary
- Noted the following:
- Sinnemäki's participation in the Finnish Student Union's secretary-general election
- Sinnemäki's participation in the Finnish Student Union's management seminar
- Introduction of the student union to new students at the Academy of Fine Arts
- The board's evening school on 23.8.2016
