Summary

open to all amateurs in ARRL/RAC Field Organizations and IARU Region 2, with DX stations allowed for credit. Objective is to work as many stations as possible on amateur bands, excluding 60, 30, 17, and 12-meter bands, to develop emergency preparedness skills. Field Day is held on the fourth full weekend of June, from 1800 UTC Saturday to 2100 UTC Sunday. Entry categories include Class A (club/non-club portable), Class B (one or two person portable), Class C (mobile), with variations for battery power and GOTA (Get-On-The-Air) stations. Stations can operate up to 27 hours, with setup limited to 24 hours before the event. Bonus points are available for using emergency power, satellite contacts, and other achievements.
