United Way of Palm Beach County is partnering with various organizations to address short-term and long-term food needs, including coordinating food distribution with the PBC Food Bank and Feeding South Florida. Other initiatives include the Farmers to Families Food Box Program, which has distributed over 70,000 pounds of food, and free meals for kids 18 and under at nearly 100 BreakSpot Grab ‘n Go sites. A survey is available to gather information on improving food resources delivery, and the School District of Palm Beach County has distributed over 4.87 million meals since March 16, 2020.
