Summary

The Idaho Department of Water Resources denied the Coalition of Cities' petition for reconsideration and/or clarification of the Final Order Conditionally Approving Cities' Second Mitigation Plan, which was issued on January 16, 2015. The Director denied the petition, stating that the planned recharge would not occur until the end of the year and would not deliver water to Rangen when relief from curtailment is sought, and that the Cities cannot argue for special treatment or exclusion from curtailment due to the precision of the curtailment model run. The Director also denied the request for a stay, which will be addressed in a separate order.
