Summary

La scuola italiana sta attraversando un momento di crisi a causa della "riforma Gelmini" e delle pesanti manovre finanziarie, che hanno portato a tagli alle cattedre e ai posti di lavoro per il personale non docente. Ciò ha inferto un duro colpo alla qualità dell'insegnamento, soprattutto nella scuola primaria. L'Amministrazione Comunale di Vezzano sul Crostolo ha posto come priorità il sostegno alle proprie scuole, impegnandosi nell'acquisto di arredi scolastici, nella manutenzione delle strutture scolastiche e nel finanziamento di progetti didattici. Il Comune ha anche aderito all'iniziativa "Puliamo il mondo" e ha organizzato eventi per promuovere la lettura e la frequentazione delle biblioteche. Il sindaco ha ribadito l'importanza della scuola come luogo di incontro e di formazione per i giovani e ha augurato un proficuo anno scolastico agli alunni e alle loro famiglie.
