Summary

Regional Cabinet meeting held on 08 October 2018, attended by leaders and chief executives of various councils, including Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire, Newport, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Torfaen, and Vale of Glamorgan. Apologies for absence were noted from Cllr Huw David, Cllr Peter Fox, Cllr Debbie Wilcox, and Cllr Anthony Hunt.

Cllr Andrew Morgan, Chair, informed members that due to technical errors, the agenda and minutes were not available for public inspection for the required three clear days, but proposed proceeding with the meeting due to special circumstances, including commercial imperatives relating to the CSC project. Members agreed to proceed.

Cllr Richard Clark declared a personal interest as a member of the CSC Foundry Board. The draft minutes of the previous meeting were accepted, and the Regional Cabinet considered a report on the CSC Project, including a progress update, annual business plan 2018-19, and proposed amendments to the development agreement for lease.

The Regional Cabinet resolved to approve the CSC Foundry Limited Annual Business Plan 2018-19 and the proposed deed of variation to the Development Agreement for Lease, and noted the update on progress with the CSC Project. The meeting was concluded.
