Die Fraktionen BfH und Grüne beantragen die Erstellung eines Integrierten Klimaschutzkonzepts für Hofheim am Taunus, das eine umfassende Bestandsaufnahme, Potenzialanalyse, Zieldefinition, Akteursbeteiligung, Maßnahmenkatalog und Verstetigungsstrategie umfasst. Die Erstellung soll durch die Nationale Klimaschutzinitiative (NKI) gefördert werden, wofür ein Antrag gestellt werden soll. Zur Umsetzung des Konzepts soll eine Stelle für Klimaschutz als Stabsstelle beim Gemeindevorstand eingerichtet werden, die zunächst für zwei Jahre befristet und anschließend um drei Jahre verlängert werden soll.
