The City of Tacoma Public Utility Special Board Meeting was held on December 15, 2021. The meeting was called to order by Chair Patterson, and all members were present. The board then moved on to the regular agenda, adopting four resolutions:

1. Awarding contracts and approving purchases, including a contract with Citybase for a kiosk payment platform and a contract with the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife for the supply of hatchery trout.
2. Authorizing the adoption of Tacoma Power's 2022 Clean Energy Implementation Plan, which outlines the utility's plan to meet the state's clean energy requirements.
3. Authorizing the adoption of Tacoma Power's 2022 Clean Energy Transformation Act (CETA) low-income assessment, which documents the number of households with energy burden and strategies to reduce it.
4. Authorizing Tacoma Power to extend the exchange agreement with the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) for the delivery of energy from the Cowlitz Project for an additional 30 years.

All resolutions were adopted with a voice vote.
