The flag can be displayed by anyone on all days and occasions, but its dignity and honour must be maintained, and it must not be used as a drapery or in a way that damages or soils it. Showing disrespect to the flag is a punishable offence. The flag must not be flown with any other flag on the same masthead, and when flown on a car, it must be on the right side. In the event of the death of the President, Vice-President, or Prime Minister, the flag is half-masted throughout the country.
