Storm Mountain Public Improvement District #55 held a meeting on November 10, 2018, at Fire Station 9. The board members in attendance were Gary Kubinak, Deb Green, James DuHadway, and Mary Hill. Community members discussed road concerns, including maintenance plans and results for 2017 and 2018. Gary Kubinak reviewed the PID board's decision to prioritize major road maintenance and improvements on access and feeder roads.

Residents submitted written statements, with Ed Ostransky asking for a detailed accounting of money spent in 2018 and proposing that work start on less used secondary roads. He also asked for clarification on the snow plowing policy, which was explained as an "on-call" basis with specific guidelines for different road types.

Amanda Carion's letter, read by Becky White, requested a 3-5 year plan for grading, plowing, and maintenance, and consideration of hiring a professional for pot hole filling. Dave Legits reported that several culverts are filling in and need to be cleaned out.

The meeting also discussed the new snow plowing process, the results of road work, and the possibility of seeking additional bids for road maintenance. Gary Kubinak will work with Jen Toland to explore the option of requesting proposals through the county.

Other topics included proposed signs, a possible new maintenance method, and a question about traffic counts on US 43 and the access road. Dave Legits proposed considering a Class Action suit against the Forest Service due to health concerns and public safety issues on the Forest Service section of the access road.
