Coordinated Entry System (CES) Policies and Procedures Recommended Changes

Recommended Action: Approve revised CES Policies and Procedures, including:
+ CES for Survivors
+ Assessment updates
+ Disaster prioritization policy
+ Clarifying language
Background: CES Policies and Procedures were last revised on September 28, 2022. Revisions include:
+ Development of CES policies and procedures for survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking
+ Assessment updates, including Pre-Assessment Screening, Shelter Assessment, Housing Assessment, Survivor Assessment, Stepping Up Assessment, Moving On Assessment, and Prevention Assessment
+ Disaster prioritization policy to prioritize resources in the event of a local, state, or national disaster
+ Clarifying language related to expanding resources, definitions, regulations, roles, and responsibilities
Public Feedback: Received through listening sessions and written feedback via email until September 27, 2023

Effectively connect individuals and families experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness to services and housing interventions
