Heat stroke prevention:
Even if you don't feel thirsty, drink water and electrolytes regularly (about 1-1.2 liters per day).
Adjust the temperature with a fan or air conditioner (set to 28°C).
Use a parasol or hat when going out.
Take breaks in the shade.
If you feel unwell, move to a cool place.
Characteristics of the elderly:
Their body's response to heat is weak, making them prone to heat stroke without realizing it.

Long-term care insurance burden ratio certificate:
If you have a long-term care insurance certificate, a new burden ratio certificate will be sent to you every year around late July.
The burden ratio may change due to changes in income or property sales.

Fukuyama City is creating a "Fukuyama Tsunagari Book" to support people with dementia in living in their familiar community.
The book includes basic knowledge about dementia, checklists, consultation windows, and information about administrative services and dementia cafes.
It is available at city halls, regional comprehensive support centers, and public libraries.
