Summary

El Informe de Gestión 2014-2018 del Parlamento Andino destaca los logros y avances institucionales durante este período. Se recibió un mandato para recuperar la credibilidad de los gobiernos y la ciudadanía en el Parlamento Andino, lo que implicó una modernización administrativa, técnica, académica y financiera. Se encontró una situación de desconfianza generalizada y se enfrentaron desafíos como la amenaza de fusión con otras instancias. Sin embargo, se avanzó en un proceso sostenible de modernización y fortalecimiento institucional, con resultados concretos en áreas como la innovación, el compromiso, la coherencia, la pertinencia, la efectividad y la transparencia. Se destacan logros como la reestructuración del área académica, la implementación de un proceso de revisión de acuerdos con organismos multilaterales, la organización de la Primera Cumbre de Jóvenes Líderes y la generación de mecanismos innovadores de participación ciudadana. También se mejoraron las relaciones externas, se establecieron alianzas con organismos como el Banco de Desarrollo de América Latina y se avanzó en la promoción y difusión del trabajo parlamentario. En cuanto a los asuntos administrativos, legales y financieros, se puso en orden la institución y se llevó adelante un proceso de modernización.
