Summary

Le plan d'action révisé pour la mise en œuvre de l'Accord de l'OMC sur l'application des mesures sanitaires et phytosanitaires (SPS) au Viet Nam comprend les obligations principales suivantes :
1. Les nouvelles normes, réglementations zoosanitaires et réglementations en matière de sécurité sanitaire des produits alimentaires seront conformes aux principes énoncés dans l'Accord SPS.
2. Établissement et fonctionnement d'un point de contact unique à des fins d'information et d'une autorité nationale responsable des notifications.
3. Transparence : notification et accès à la documentation, notamment l'identification de l'autorité chargée d'adresser les notifications à l'OMC, la publication sans tarder des mesures projetées, la communication d'exemplaires du texte des mesures projetées aux Membres de l'OMC et la prévision d'un délai raisonnable pour permettre aux Membres et au public de présenter leurs observations.
Les délais pour la mise en œuvre de ces obligations varient, allant de 2004 à l'accession du Viet Nam à l'OMC.
