Summary

The Energy Efficiency Policy Data Base for Latin America and the Caribbean is an adapted version of the MURE EE policy database for Europe, containing over 2000 measures. The database, called OSD7 policy data base, organizes policy measures into 5 sectors: Horizontal, Households, Services, Industry, and Transport. It has two interfaces: a public interface to query policies and measures, and a private interface to input or modify measures. Measures can be queried by sector, country, type, target, keyword, and period. The database is bilingual in English and Spanish, with input by national experts in either language and translation of main characteristics by Enerdata. Each measure is characterized by its type, target, status, and other descriptors, including overview, impact evaluation, and detailed description.
