Summary

The Lemont Public Library District adopted a resolution to ascertain the prevailing rate of wages for public works construction in Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois, as required by the Prevailing Wage Act. The resolution determines the prevailing rates of wages to be the same as those determined by the Illinois Department of Labor, and requires the President of the Library District to post and make available the determination, as well as attach it to contract specifications. The resolution also requires the President to mail copies of the determination to employers and employees who have requested them, and to file a certified copy with the Secretary of State and the Illinois Department of Labor.
