- Plan for shaded or air-conditioned rest areas.
- Consider appropriate work attire with good moisture-wicking and ventilation.

- Review and enhance heat index reduction strategies.
- Enforce work interruptions based on heat index.
- Encourage water and salt intake and monitor it.
- Increase health checks before work and patrol frequency.
- Educate on heatstroke risks and emergency responses.
- Monitor heat index using JIS-standard heat index meters and adjust measures accordingly.
- Gradually increase heat exposure time over 7 days, with caution for new hires and returning workers.
- Ensure regular water and salt intake.
- Conduct deep body temperature checks before work and during breaks.
- Consider health conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, etc.
- Monitor daily health factors like breakfast intake, sleep, and alcohol consumption.
- Regularly check workers' health during work and encourage mutual monitoring.
- Act promptly in case of abnormalities, ensuring immediate medical attention and preventing isolation.
