Summary

The Securities and Exchange Commission is proposing amendments to rules governing money market funds to improve resilience and transparency. The proposal removes liquidity fee and redemption gate provisions, requires swing pricing policies for institutional prime and tax-exempt funds, and increases daily and weekly liquid asset minimums to 25% and 50%.
