Summary

Se modifica la Ley N° 13.844 para crear el Consejo Provincial de Personas Mayores, que funcionará bajo la órbita del Ministerio de Desarrollo de la Comunidad, con el objetivo de institucionalizar la colaboración y participación de las personas mayores en la definición de políticas públicas relacionadas con este grupo etario. El Consejo tendrá funciones como proponer líneas prioritarias de acción, participar en la identificación de necesidades específicas, impulsar acciones de relevamiento de información y promover un sistema de interrelación con instituciones vinculadas a la temática de las personas mayores. Estará constituido por un presidente, un secretario ejecutivo y vocales representantes de diferentes ministerios, instituciones y organizaciones.
