Decisions of the Quota Committee (Beef and Dairy) in its Zoom meeting on January 5, 2022:
1. Approval of the protocol from December 26, 2021 - The protocol was sent to the parties and approved by them.
2. Update of a decision by email - A request to reduce part of the quota transferred under the umbrella permit for 2021 was denied.
3. Email decision from December 30, 2021 - A request to extend the deadline for transferring payment for receiving a quota was approved until January 15, 2022.
4. Update on filing an appeal - An appeal was filed against the committee's decision not to allow a partnership in a milking institute between family and cooperative sector farmers.
5. Allocation of quotas for 2022 - The Minister of Agriculture signed the total production volume, and quotas were allocated to manufacturers on January 2, 2022.
6. Update on quota transfer procedures - In the family sector, the quota transfer process is ongoing, and the price was updated to 2.2 NIS per liter.
7. Request for permanent quota transfer - A request to transfer a quota from a mother to her daughter was approved.
8. Update of quota registration - Following the death of the husband, the quota registration will be updated in the wife's name only.
9. Request for an umbrella permit - A request for an umbrella permit due to the farmer's health condition was approved for 2022.
10. Request for an umbrella permit due to a brucellosis outbreak - A request for an umbrella permit was approved for a period not exceeding six months from the date of the lifting of the closure.
