- Ice for consumption must be clean, packaged in clean containers, at least 15 cm above the ground, and not used to store other items.
- Clean utensils must be used for handling ice.
- Food containers, utensils, and equipment must be clean, made of safe materials, and well-maintained.
- Containers, utensils, and equipment must be stored in clean places, at least 60 cm above the ground, or protected from contamination.
- Food preparation areas must be clean, with proper drainage, and protected from pests and animals.
- Food handlers must be in good health, not suffering from contagious diseases, and follow good hygiene practices.
