Summary

Atsinaujinančių išteklių energijos bendrija (AIE bendrija) - Lietuvos Respublikos atsinaujinančių išteklių energetikos įstatyme nustatytus kriterijus atitinkantis pelno nesiekiantis juridinis asmuo, kuris valdo ir plėtoja energijos iš atsinaujinančių išteklių gamybos įrenginius. AIE bendrijos padeda sutelkti visuomenines, verslo ir gyventojų iniciatyvas atsinaujinančių energijos išteklių srityje, pereiti nuo iškastinio kuro naudojimo prie švaresnės, vietinės energijos gamybos. Jos teikia tiesioginę naudą gyventojams, didina energijos vartojimo efektyvumą, mažina sąskaitas už elektrą ir kuria naujas darbo galimybes. Galimos AIE bendrijos juridinės formos: viešoji įstaiga, asociacija, sodininkų bendrija, daugiabučių bendrija. AIE bendrijos steigėjais/dalyviais gali būti fiziniai asmenys, vidutinės, mažos ir labai mažos įmonės, kiti pelno nesiekiantys juridiniai asmenys, savivaldybės, savivaldybių valdomos įmonės ir įstaigos.
