Das Land Oberösterreich plant Kürzungen, insbesondere im Kulturbereich. Das Kulturland OÖ ist jedoch auf Kunst und Kultur angewiesen, als Wirtschaftsfaktor, Arbeitgeber, Werkzeug der Regionalentwicklung, soziales Bindemittel und kritischer Spiegel. Die regionalen Kulturinitiativen und die "freie Szene" wurden in den letzten Jahren systematisch ausgehungert, und nun sind auch die Volkskultur und die landeseigenen Kultureinrichtungen gefährdet. Stattdessen sollen in den nächsten Jahren Millionen eingespart werden. Die Landesregierung Oberösterreichs wird aufgefordert, von den Kürzungsplänen Abstand zu nehmen und sich für die nachhaltige Absicherung des Kulturlandes einzusetzen. Dies beinhaltet die Rettung der kulturellen Nahversorger, den Erhalt der Kulturhäuser, den Ausbau des Kulturbudgets und die Umsetzung des oberösterreichischen Kulturleitbildes.
