The statewide average weekly wage (SAWW) in Minnesota will increase to $1,337, effective October 1, 2023, a 3.89% increase from the current SAWW of $1,287. This change affects various workers' compensation benefits, including vocational rehabilitation maximum hourly fee adjustments, relative value medical fee schedule adjustments, and independent medical examination fee adjustments. The maximum qualified rehabilitation consultant hourly rate will increase to $122.97, and the maximum hourly rate for rehabilitation job development and placement services will increase to $98.48.
